Successful Canada show for Morgère

Morgère enjoyed a successful North Atlantic Fish & Workboat Show in St. John’s, Newfoundland, recently.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for Morgère to introduce their Canadian agent, Agrés de Peche, to fishermen and also to highlight the optimum fishing performance provided by the company’s Exocet trawl door.

Michel Dagorn of Morgère said: “It was great to meet fishermen who are already using the Exocet door and are reporting excellent fishing results. We had many enquiries and anticipate these will turn into direct orders in the near future.”

Designed and manufactured by Morgère, Exocet doors are already widely used by Canadian fishermen based in Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, who work challenging Atlantic waters for a range of demersal species.

The doors, which are manufactured in a variety of different sizes, provide a lower angle of attack compared with a standard door, while maintaining the same spread.
