Morgère has secured a major order for 10 sets of trawl doors from Moroccan fishing company, Omnium Marocain de Pêche.

The contract for the VO trawl doors following on from a previous order in January 2015, signalling Omnium’s high level of satisfaction with the performance of the equipment used by its demersal fishing fleet based in Tan Tan, south-west Morocco. 

Morgère’s VO trawl doors feature a V-profile and offer excellent stability in challenging towing conditions. The doors are easy to shoot and are well adapted to cope with rough ground conditions with the position of the foils enabling more spread and less drag.

Morgère has been supplying Omnium with trawl doors since 2009 and the VO09 type has also proved popular with fishing skippers in a number of other countries around the world.
