Morgère’s ship repair facilities at Saint Brieuc and Saint Malo in Brittany have been experiencing a busy year, with vessel owners taking advantage of the range of steel and aluminium maintenance services offered by the company.

In Saint Malo, Morgère recently successfully completed a significant maintenance programme on the vessel Corsaire de Sercq, owned by the Sark Shipping Company. The vessel is an aluminium monohull; 23 metres in length powered by twin Volvo engines. The vessel has a capacity of 157 passengers and cruises at 16 Knots and is used for the crossing from Guernsey to Sark and vice versa.

Meanwhile, at Saint Brieuc a regular flow of fishing vessels has been serviced by Morgère. Specialising in steel, metal and pipe work, the repair facilities at Saint Malo and Saint Brieuc provides marine craft with comprehensive repair and maintenance services that ensure quality workmanship and fast turnaround.

All types of steel (including Hardox) and aluminium work is carried out by the facilities, which includes repairs to trawl winches and net drums.
