Morgère will be promoting its renowned Exocet trawl doors at Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen 2019, which since its launch in 2015, has won praise from skippers throughout the north Atlantic for their excellent fishing performance.

Exocet is a tremendously versatile door available in a wide range of sizes from less than 1sqm up to much larger sizes for offshore trawlers. The doors are successfully used by skippers targeting a variety of demersal whitefish species, as well as for shrimp trawling.

“One of the keys to the success of Exocet is its versatility in a wide range of challenging fishing conditions that ensures optimum catches for skippers,” says Michel Dagorn of Morgère, who himself is a former fisherman.

Special design features on Exocet means the angle of attack of the doors can be reduced without comprising upon spread in the trawl opening, resulting in savings in fuel consumption. The doors are also renowned for their stability and ease in shooting.

“Fishermen are attracted by the robustness and stability offered by the Exocet door, combined with reduced drag that benefits fuel consumption,” adds Michel Dagorn.

“We are really looking forward to Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen 2019 where we will delighted to explain to skippers the benefits offered by Exocet in ensuring the best possible fishing performance.”

Morgère will be exhibiting on stand number 50 at Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen 2019.
