The V3 door
Description :
This latest generation of bottom doors is the result of more than 50 years’ research and based on the experience of previous generations. The V3 meets the same criteria as the PV3 with its almost oval shape allowing a smoother passage over rocky seabeds.
- A V profile allows easy spinning
- A tilting oval shape on the rear facing obstacles
- 3 grouped foils on the first third at the front of the door greatly increase the lift, and produce a nozzle effect, considerably reducing drag.
The results are clear:
- Constant distance between the doors
- High stability and capacity for a very quick recovery
- Increased lift allows reduced surface area, speed and angle of attack
- Reduced fuel consumption
