Busy time for Morgère at Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen 2018

Morgère experienced a good show at Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen 2018 with skippers showing much interest in the Exocet trawl door and other fishing gear systems.

The Exocet trawl door has been specially developed to meet the operational requirements of vessels fishing in the north-east Atlantic and is ideally suited for Scottish skippers because of its robustness and stability.

A key feature is the lower angle of attack compared with a standard door whilst maintaining the same spread, which helps reduce fuel consumption.

Scottish skippers also showed much interest in Morgère’s new ‘Osprey’ door, which has been performing well in Icelandic waters, and which fishes on and just above the seabed.

Michel Dagorn of Morgère said: “It was great to be at the Skipper Expo and explain to skippers the benefits our specially designed trawl doors offers to the Scottish fishing sector.”
